Ales Barazenka, a correspondent of Belsat Belarusian TV channel, was attacked in Donetsk. Barazenka was attacked by strangers after shooting a news story, Belsat reports.

Correspondent Barazenka was shooting a video for the independent TV channel near the building of the Donetsk regional administration. Suspicious young men were standing nearby trying to hear what Ales was saying. “Perhaps, they didn't like what I said, so they began to trace me,” the journalist said. The young men caught him up later and hit him several times in the stomach. They also punched him in the face splitting his lips.

Provocations in Ukraine's Sunday eastern regions – Donetsk, Luhansk and Kharkiv – have been continuing since Monday. They are organised by Russian 'tourists', local criminal elements and supporters of fugitive Viktor Yanukovych.
