Only five out of 88 candidates for the district council and the 26 candidates for the Mahiliou Regional Council used the opportunity to create their own campaign funds.

Let us remind that starting from this year candidates are no longer allocated any funds for campaigning and need to form their own funds through special registration of electoral bank accounts.

Such accounts have been opened by two candidates for the regional council – Alena Hardynets, nonpartisan, head of the kindergarten № 81, and Uladzimir Yauseyenkau, a member of the Libderal Democratic Party, individual entrepreneur. Funds were also established by three candidates for the district council – Ruslan Chevychelau, nonpartisan, director of construction company "Buhel", Sviatlana Hrytsenka – librarian, member of the Belarusian Christian party, and Danuta Dz'yachenka – dentist, member of the BCD.
