Official sources are in no hurry to inform the residents of Babruisk on the election campaign. From the outset, information is issues in small portions, and despite the fact that the registration of candidates for deputies to the City Council finished on February 21, their names yet remain a mystery.

The city executive committee’s website modestly says that out of 97 nominees 88 people became candidates. They will be contenders for the 40 seats in the City Council. “Eight people were not registered due to inaccurate data submitted, one person withdrew the application," said the official source.

It turns out that registration was denied to nominees from the campaign "Tell the truth" only. The campaign put forward nine candidates, and only one nominee, a retired woman Liudmila Kaveryna, was registered.
