The website of the Bialynichy District Executive Committee posted a document in the category “Elections 2014” signed by the police department chief Colonel Yury Simanau.

The document entitled "Information on liability for breach of electoral law" cites a number of articles of the Administrative Code and the Penal Code and the penalties provided for in these articles.

It is significant that among others the paper mentions Article 292 (rioting) and Article 342 (organization and preparation of activities that breach public order or active participation in them).

Meanwhile, the Bialynichy district election commission did not register any of the three democratic candidates for alleged inaccuracies in their nomination signature sheets.

On the same day, the election commissions of Bialynichy constituency No. 1 and Kruhlaye constituency No. 27 denied on similar grounds the registration of two democratic activists, Piotr Shymbaliou and Aleh Miatselitsa. Thus, there remained no democratic candidates for local elections in the entire Mahiliou region.
