In Biaroza, election observers Siarhei Rusetski and Tamara Shchapiotkina filed formal applications with the Biaroza district and the Brest regional election commissions to be admitted to the meetings on verification of signatures in support of candidacies for the local councils.
Deputy chairperson of the district commission Aliaksandr Krahel and chairperson of the regional commission Tamara Karpenka responded that they were allowed to attend only the meeting at which the results of the verification and the decisions taken concerning the registration of the candidates would be announced.
