Co-chair of the organizing committee of the party "Belarusian Christian Democracy" Vital Rymashevski has received a subpoena to the Savetski District Police Department of Minsk for February 7.

As far as Kamarouski market is located in the Savetski district, it is likely that the subpoena is related to the picket held by the speaker of the Young Christian Democrats Maryna Khomich. On February 2 people in mufti insulted the picketers in all possible ways, shooting them on video from a close distance, exercising psychical pressure. The picketers called a police patrol, but it didn't arrive.

"We regard this fact, as well as pressure on the activists during the pickets and after them, as political persecution, as an attempt to intimidate us. Pro-governmental candidates use the administrative resource and unregistered symbols, but pressurization is applied only to BCD activists. The regime allows the opposition to participate in elections only by its rules, immediately turning on the repressive machine if something goes th eother way round," said Mr. Rymashevski.
