Hrodna ideologists to examine Karbalevich's book about Lukashenka for extremism

Salihorsk citizen Aliaksandr Malochka received information from the head of the Ashmiany customs office about the appointment of a customs examination on the book which was seized from him at the Belarusian-Lithuanian border on 14 September, “Aliaksandr Lukashenka. Political Portrait” by Valery Karbalevich.

As it follows from the response of the head of the customs office, the examination was appointed on 30 September, and entrusted to “experts from among the authorized officials of the Main Bureau of Ideological Work, Culture and Youth Affairs of the Hrodna Regional Executive Committee".

According to Aliaksandr Malochka, he never considered himself a staunch enemy of the existing political system in Belarus and has never called for his overthrow. "But after all these events I really started feeling like a stranger in my own country, and it happens so only because in the 21st century I let myself read what I want, not what other people want,” says the Salihorsk resident.

According to the legislation, Aliaksandr Malochka has the right to familiarize with the conclusions of the expert, as well as apply for an additional or re-examination. The younster is ready to use this right of the Hrodna ideologists the book by Valery Karbalevich to be dangerous to the society.
