In
the past few days in Pinsk a memorial sign in the place of a ghetto
of the World War II, was desecrated, and a swastika was pained on the
building of the Jewish educational center.
The Jewish
community believe that these incidents are not the accident and
everything was done purposefully. In their opinion, here one can talk
not only about vandalism as a hooligan act, but also as a
manifestation of neo-Nazism, presenting a threat to the societal
values.
The head of the Pinsk City Executive Committee
Aliaksandr Hordzich asked to find and bring to justice those involved
in these incidents. However, the law enforcement agencies continue
their search and cannot give a clear assessment of what has happened.
