Another mini-movie from the series “Chronicles of Judgment Time” appeared on the Internet. The documentary is dedicated to one of the leaders of the party “Fair World” Siarhei Vazniak, politically repressed during the presidential campaign in 2010.

He worked at the headquarters of presidential candidate Uladzimir Niakliayeu. Siarhei Vazniak was arrested on December 20 in his apartment and placed in the KGB detention center. In late December, he was charged in a criminal case opened by Minsk police under Par. 1 and 2, Art. 293 of the Criminal Code (“organization of mass disorders and participation in them”). On 29 December 2010, the politician was released on his own recognizance.

On March 30, 2011 the charge was changed to Par. 1 of Art. 342 of the Criminal Code (“organization of activities that breach public order or participation in them”).

On May 20, 2011 Frunzenski district court of Minsk sentenced him to 2 years of suspended imprisonment.

Siarhei Vazniak is a journalist, civil society and political activist. He is member of the Board of the Belarusian Association of Journalists and member of the Bureau of the Central Committee of the Belarusian Leftist Party “Fair World”.
