Anastasia Dashkevich(Palazhanka), the wife of political prisoner Zmitser Dashkevich, was taken off the train, as she was going to take exams at the European Humanities University in Vilnius, the Nasha Niva newspaper reports. The reason for the detention is that she reportedly failed to change her passport after the marriage.

As reported by Anastasia herself, before the trip she specifically checked the information in the passport office. There, she was told she didn’t have to receive a new passport. The girl did not want to change the passport immediately, as there was a visa in it, and getting a new one could take time.

According to Anastasia Dashkevich, the border guards first told her that there were no problems, but then their boss told them on the radio: “Dashkevich out!”
