The possible reason is the anniversary of the post-election protests on December 19.
“Mikalai phoned me and said he was being detained by police officers. He was walking home. I haven't yet called a police station to figure out his whereabouts. It happened just a few minutes ago,” Alesya, the wife of Young Front deputy head Mikalai Dzemidzenka, told charter97.org.
Tomorrow is the second anniversary of the events on December 19, 2010, when the authorities brutally dispersed a peaceful demonstration against the rigged presidential elections.
