The political prisoner does not receive letters. Autukhovich's Afghan war friend, Aliaksandr Sakharuk, fears Autukhovich does not receive mail. He said this to Euroradio: “He didn't reply to two latest letters. I sent a registered letter with delivery confirmation. I will wait and see what will happen. We both served in Afghanistan. When I began to wrote him, we found out we know the same towns and even kishlaks. I call him my army friend. I want to do my best to support him, but with no success.”

Information that Autukhovich does not receive mail already leaked from prison, if the news from the website palitviazni, info is true.

Bear in mind the businessman from Vaukavysk was sentenced to 5 years and 2 months in prison in 2010. He was accused of illegal possession of weapons (five cartridges for hunting were found in his safe). Autukhovich serves his term in a closed prison in Hrodna after being transferred here from a penal colony in Ivatsevichy as persistent violator of prison rules.
