Mikita Kavalenka and Aliaksei Tsioply were detained for handing out information bulletins “Charter'97”.

Activists of the “European Belarus”” civil campaign were handing out newspapers near the central railway station in Minsk. Police officers came to them at 8:00 p.m., took out the newspapers and detained the young men. As charter97.org learned from friends of the detained activists, Mikita Kavalenka and Aliaksei Tsioply were taken to a police station at the railway station.

Soon they were let out without getting any charges. Policemen didn't return newspapers to the activists.
