The head of the culture bureau of the Hrodna Regional Executive Committee Aliaksandr Viarsotski submitted a special errand to the heads of the culture department of all district executive committees and cultural establishments of the Brest region.
He demands that his subordinates “take concrete measures on prevention of the policy of forced Belarusization and artificial limitation of the use of the Russian language by heads of state institutions and other organizations”.
Viarsotski also ordered them to inform the culture bureau of the Hrodna Region Executive Committee and him in person about the measures taken by 1 July and 25 December 2012.
