Famous punk band Kalyan and a new rock project Dzeciuki were expected to play at the concern.

According to Syarhei Kirkevich, a series of events in honour of Kastus Kalinouski runs in Hrodna on occasion of the 150th anniversary of the uprising that will be marked next year. Young Fornt members from Hronda want to remind the city authorities that a decision to set a monument to Kastus Kalinouski in the city was taken yet in 1989, but the monument has not still been erected, Euroradio reports.

Today's rock concert was part of the series of events, but the city authorities stood against this idea, Kirkevich says. The venue owner refused to lease premises for the gig at the last minute.

According to Kirkevich, a decision to have a concert on another day or in another form has not been taken yet. The organizer says he does not want to lay people down.
