On 6 November a memorial march dedicated to Dzyady (Remembrance of Ancestors Day) was held in Minsk.

The march organized by the Conservative Christian party Belarusian Popular Front moved from the worsted integral works to the mass burial place of Stalin-era repressions victims in Loshytsa Park. The event was sanctioned by the Minsk City Executive Committee, BelaPAN informs.

More than a hundred of people, including activists of the Conservative Christian Party, the Young Front youth organization and other oppositional organizations, have taken part in the rally. Participants of the rally were followed by law-enforcers in mufti who were filming them.

After the end of the rally plain clothes policemen detained an activist of the movement “For Freedom” Yury Navitski who tried to photograph them, and an activist of the Conservative-Christian Party “Belarusian Popular Front” Uladzimir Yukho. The policemen didn't introduce themselves. The whereabouts of the detainees remain unknown.
