An activist of the United Civil Party Volha Padzeryna has been sentenced to 10 days’ administrative arrest by the court of Leninski district of Minsk.

Volha Padzeryna (Olga Paderina) was detained on September 18 late at night for pasting stickers of “Revolution through social networks” campaign. A report on charges under Article 21.14 of the Administrative Code (violation of municipal improvement and maintenance rules in centres of population). Then the girl was released. She was promised that the case would be forwarded to the police department according to her place of residence, ucpb.org website informs.

Yesterday morning Padzeryna received a phone call from the police department of Leninski district and was asked to take back her things seized by arrest. When she arrived to the police department, the United Civil party activist was detained and taken to the Palace of Justice for trial under Article 23.34 of the Administrative Code (violation of the order of mass events – the report was drawn up on the same day) and under Article 21.14 of the Administrative Code (violation of municipal improvement and maintenance rules in centres of population).
