According to Vadzim Saranchukou, the Chairperson of the Hrodna branch of the
Belarusian Popular Front Party, the search was conducted within the framework
of the criminal case concerning the ‘mass riot’ in Minsk on 19 December. The formulation
in the warrant ordered the investigators to ‘search the regional headquarters
of Kastusiou’, though there’s no such body.
