KGB actively interrogates Young Front members
On 6 December a Young Front activist Yul'yan
Misiukevich managed to inform his friends that he was taken for an
interrogation by KGB officers right after passing an exam.
On 5 December the Young Front activists Mikola Dzemidzenka and Valery
Matskevich were interrogated at KGB as witnesses in the criminal case on mass
riot (instigated in connection with the protest rally of 19 December).
Matksevich was interrogated in the morning and Dzemidzenka – in the afternoon.
The both of them were interrogated for almost five hours. The bulk of the
questions concerned not the rally, but activities of the Young Front.
The activists stated that KGB officers tried to persuade them to give
testimonies against other activists of the Young Front during the
interrogation.
