A stranger attacked a volunteer near a picket of the presidential candidate Uladzimir Niakliayeu.

At about 11 p.m. on 5 December two young men came to the picket at the Railway Station Square in Minsk. One of them looked quite adequate, the other seemed to be too drunk, the website of Speak Truth campaign reports.

The guys started asking the volunteer about the upcoming election and Mr. Niakliayeu, he replied, and as a result a rather normal conversation began, which, however, somehow unwittingly, but rather quickly turned into a kind of dispute. The guys obviously wanted to sting the volunteer. But as he did not ‘buy into’ getting in an argument, one of the guys unexpectedly delivered a hard blow on his face. It was so strong that the young man lost his memory for some time and still can’t explain clearly what actually happened. When he came to his senses, the volunteer went to the nearest police station and wrote a statement about the attack.
