Mahiliou: electoral team of Aliaksandr Lukashenka continues using administrative resource
Despite Lukashenka's statement that his electoral team has collected as many as 600,000 signatures in his support, the collection of signatures for him continues.
The head of the Mahiliou Human Rights Center Uladzimir Krauchanka states that forced signing in support of the candidacy of Aliaksandr Lukashenka continues in some state institutions.
In particular, on 7 October the first and second year students of Mahiliou State University were gathered in the assembly hall to make them put signatures for Lukashenka (they had been told to bring their passports with them on the eve of the gathering). Workers of the Euraopt shop were also forced to sign in his support. Information about forced signing for Lukashenka was also received from the state enterprises Strammashyna, the open stock companies Mahilioukhimvalakno and Babushkina Krynka and the Mahiliou branch of the Belarusian railway.
