Navapoatsk

The Deputy Head of the department of social development of the Navapolatsk enterprise Palimir Mikhail Kastsiuk collected signatures in support of Lukashenka’s candidacy during the working hours.

A similar situation can be observed in building thrust #16. It’s quite interesting that there people had to put down only their signatures and the date, without providing their passport data and the place of residence. As far as the signature lists are invalid without this information, it is clear that collectors of signatures for Lukashenka have a direct access to the personnel departments of state enterprises.

Minsk

Today’s sitting of the ideological department of the Belarusian State Agrarian University was attended by a member of the electoral team of Aliaksandr Lukashenka. She told the commandants of student dormitories that signatures for Lukashenka would be collected at 4-6 p.m. on 6-7 October and they were to make students wait in the dormitories with their passports. She also said that it was necessary to collect 150 signatures in support of Lukashenka’s candidacy.

Pinsk

An assembly of the staff of the Pinsk central polyclinic took place during the midday break on 4 October.

The Deputy Head Doctor of the polyclinic, a deputy of the Pinsk Town Council and a member of the electoral team of Aliaksandr Lukashenka Maryna Kavaleuskaya spoke at the meeting. At first she described the socio-political situation in the country and then proposed the present people to sign in support of Lukashenka’s candidacy. She needed just their signatures as the passport data had been obtained from the personnel department of the polyclinic. She also insisted that an elector could sign in support of only one candidate.

Homel

Members of Aliaksandr Lukashenka’s team hold pickets in the building of the Homel universities to collect signatures in his support.

In particular, a regular picketing takes place on the ground floor of Homel State University. On 5 October a picket was also held on the first floor of State Transport University. Signatures were collected there by the provost on education, Halina Chayankova, who is also the Chairperson of the Chyhunachny district organization of the state NGO Belaya Rus and the head of Lukashenka’s electoral team in the Chyhunachny district of Homel.

It is clear that students are unlikely to dare to refuse to sign for the head of state if signatures collected by the provost on education.

Hrodna

The staff of the Hrodna State Building Lyceum, which is located on Suvorau Street, were forced to put their signatures in support of Aliaksandr Lukashenka.

Mahiliou

The human rights defenders of Mahiliou found about some interesting facts. Workers and students are obliged to pass their passports to their administration. Often they aren’t even explained the reasons. In particular, the administration of the Mahiliou heating system collected passports from all mechanics. The local activists believe that signatures for Aliaksandr Lukashenka can be collected in such a way.
