On 1 October the Deputy Chairperson of the Central Electoral Commission Mikalai Lazavik held an educational seminar for chairpersons of the territorial electoral commissions of the Hrodna region. Though we don’t know anything about the essence of this seminar, we can surely state the lack of publicly accessible information about the elections of President of the Republic of Belarus.

For instance, the information about the composition of the territorial electoral commissions wasn’t uploaded to the websites of district executive committees. The composition of the majority of the electoral commissions will become known on 2 October – it will be published in the regional and district state-owned newspapers.

It will be more difficult to find about the composition of the Hrodna District Territorial Electoral Commission, as the regional newspaper Perpektiva is issued biweekly and the Friday issue is distributed only on subscription, whereas the website of the Hrodna City Executive Committee still has no information about the composition of the electoral commission.
