Belarusian Christian Democracy still unregistered
The Ministry of Justice ruled to leave undecided the registration application of the Belarusian Christian Democracy party due to ‘the absence of a list of members of the party’s management committee’, the BelaPAN news agency reports.
According to the party’s co-chair Pavel Seviarynets, the Ministry of Justice’s decision was ‘a hasty one, since the BCD’s founding congress was held on 12 September, and the application registration is to be submitted within a month’s time. It means that we can submit the missing papers and correct the errors until 12 October.’
Seviarynets claims that the list of the party’s National Council was submitted to the Minsitry of Justice on 21 September.
