Hrodna court turns down appeal by ex-candidate
On 17 June Hrodna regional court considered a claim lodged by Aleh Ramashkevich, former local council candidate, against a fine imposed on the politician for alleged posting of election leaflets in forbidden locations.
The court ruled to dismiss the claim, forcing Mr. Ramashkevich to pay a fine of BYR 875,000.
