Taisa Kabanchuk: case closed
Mahiliou Regional Transport Prosecutor’s Office ruled to terminate the criminal prosecution of Taisa Kabanchuk, leader of the Belarusian Christian Democracy Mahiliou regional office.
Ms. Kabanchuk was detained on 25 March and charged with drug-distribution and obstructing the police. The woman was beaten up by the police.
It was not until Taisia Kabanchuk lodged a complaint with the prosecutor’s office, that the prosecution was terminated.
