Assembly of NGOs: another attempt of registration
On 18 December the Assembly of Belarusian Pro-Democratic NGOs held a meeting in attempt to receive state registration, earlier this year their previous application was turned down by the authorities. The Assembly’s members condemned the decision by the Ministry of Justice as groundless and unfair.
Aliona Valynets, head of the Assembly’s Executive Bureau, hopes that the recent election of the Assembly’s head of Working Group Siarhei Matskevich as speaker of the Civil Society Forum of the Eastern Partnership may affect the decision of the Ministry of Justice.
