The member of the Lithuanian Parliament Emmanuelis Zingeris was denied the Belarusian visa. He was to have come to Belarus to read the greeting message on behalf of the head of the Lithuanian Parliament Irena Degutiene, the BNS informs.

‘I wasn’t allowed to congratulate the Belarusian democrats on behalf of the whole Parliament. Doubtlessly, it is a political act,’ stated Mr. Zingeris in his interview to the BNS.

The Lithuanian MFA stated that such step of the official Minsk didn’t correspond to the friendly spirit of relations between close neighbors.
