CCP BPF activist no longer suspected in terrorism
On 10 July the activist of the Conservative Christian Party Belarusian Popular Front Kanstantsin Ulanau was detained by police and spent ten days in custody in the pre-trial prison in Akrestsin Street on charges in participation in the terrorist group that was preparing a terrorist act.
Mr. Ulanau is a veteran of the war in Afganistan. During these ten days he was taken for interrogations and confrontations in connections with the charges in terrorism.
According to the information of RFE/RL Mr. Ulanau also expressed the hope that the Vaukavysk entrepreneur Mikalai Autukhovich (kept in jail since February) would be cleared of the suspicions in terrorism as well.
