Maxim Viniarski and Uladzimir Kumets spent the night at Tsentralny district police department of Minsk.
Yesterday they hanged out a banner ‘Freedom to Autukhovich!’ on the bridge in Niamiha Street, and were arrested for it. The police drew up a report under Article 17.1 of the Administrative Code, ‘petty hooliganism’.
Today the activists have been taken to Tsentralny district court for a trial.
Bear in mind that the leaders of the entrepreneurs from Vaukavysk Mikalai Autukhovich, Uladzimir Asipenka and Yury Liavonau were detained on 8 February 2009. Mikalai Autukhovich has been on indefinite hunger-strike since 16 April. He demands that the investigation should pass the case to the court or release him under written recognizance not to leave.
