Aleh Pronski, graduate of Hrodna Agricultural University, is threatened with forced reassignment to Homel oblast. According to the activist, it is the revenge of the authorities for his activism and being a member of For Freedom movement.

Mr. Pronski received a telephone call from the dean’s office and was told to come to the personnel department of the university. However, he answered that he could not do it, as he was in his native town Masty. As Aleh Pronski said to Radio Racyja, it is not the first attempt to intimidate him. Earlier such attempts were taken by the first provost of Hrodna Agricultural University Alexander Duduk and the KGB captains Aleh Kastsiukevich and Pavel Piatsevich, who held ‘prophylactic talks’ with him.

By the way, the first assignment to working places took place at the university on 16 January and Aleh Pronski, who specializes in agronomy, was assigned to the experimental base in the village of Rutkevichy in Shchuchyn district. But now he can be reassigned to the radioactively polluted region, Homel oblast.
