Hrodna: arrest of human rights activists
Human rights activists of Hrodna organized a street action dedicated to the 60th anniversary of proclamation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Members of human rights organizations were distributing UDHR texts among Hrodna dwellers.
Riot police officers detained Viktar Sazonau, Uladzimir Khilmanovich, Ivan Roman and Aleh Kalinkou for verification of identity. According to the Belarusian laws, detention can’t last for more than 3 hours, Radio Racyja reminds.
