20-year-old Young Front activist Katsiaryna Salauyova, detained on 6 December after a rally of solidarity with Alexander Barazenka, has been released. However, prosecutor’s office launched a check over beating of a policeman by her.

According to eye-witnesses, the policemen pulled the girl by her hair and sweater, used rude language when detaining. But they said at the police department that it was hear who had beaten them, Young Front website reports.

Katsiaryna admits she scratched face of a policeman. She says she had to defend herself. She is going to get her injures registered and apply to the prosecutor’s office concerning the fact of her beating by the policemen.
