Entrepreneurs get ready to protest march

The protest action is planned for Monday, December 15th. RFE/RL learned that today from chairman of the Council of Perspektyva NGO Anatol Shumchanka: “We are preparing to the action. We will demand from the president and the government of the country to keep stable conditions for the work of entrepreneurs in 2009. That is the single tax and a fixed customs coefficient for delivery of third country goods from Russia.”
Shumchanka also informed about preparations to the rally and its route: “We carry out meetings at market places, spread leaflets and work with activists. Besides that, we go out to the regions. The march will take the following route: from the Academy of Sciences along Independence Ave. to Surhanava Street and further on to Bangalor Square.
Perspektyva NGO organizes rallies and strikes in Minsk and the regions since 2004.
