Authorities demand from oppositional parties ‘explanations’ concerning protests against rigged elections

Representatives of democratic forces state that after the departure of international observers the authorities returned to persecution of the opposition.
Recently the United Civil Party and the Belarusian Social Democratic Party (Hramada) received letters signed by the deputy minister of justice Bileichyk. The parties are required to give explanation concerning the participation of their representatives in the protest action against the rigged elections, and concerning the activities of the political council of the United democratic forces.
