Ramanchuk’s team cannot receive data

In violation of the election legislation, which demands the elections to be open and transparent representatives of precinct election commissions of Hrodna-Paunochnaya district refuse to provide information to agents of candidate Yaraslau Ramanchuk.
In Hrodna, just as all over the country, today is the first day of early voting. However, Yaraslau Ramanchuk and his agents did not manage to receive information about the number of voters and the number of received ballot papers in the majority of precinct election commissions. Commission representatives groundlessly refuse to provide the requested figures.
According to Yury Istomin, Ramanchuk’s agent, this is another proof that the elections are not democratic.
Heads of state institutions are not helping the opposition candidate in organizing meetings with voters either. For instance, administrations of several secondary schools refused to provide conference rooms for meetings with voters. CEO of the building materials plant refused to provide the conference room referring to its emergency state. Meanwhile, every week the same is rented to city residents for holding wedding parties and other celebrations.
