On September 22nd candidate in Buda-Kashaliouskaya district # 38 Kanstantsin Zhukouski withdrew his candidacy. He has already submitted the appropriate statement to the district election commission.
Kanstantsin Zhukouski ran as a candidate on the UDF list.
“Representatives of the opposition forces were not included in precinct election commissions, the authorities use the administrative resource to the maximum – officials of different range travel to villages and throw mud at the pro-democratic candidates. What equal opportunities, what democratic election are we talking about? Moreover, Homel coalition made a decision to withdraw from the race, and we are implementing it.”, -- the politician commented on his decision in the interview to BelaPAN.
This way, two candidates are now running in Buda-Kashaliouskaya district – unemployed non-partisan Rechytsa resident Viktar Kantsavenka and incumbent MP Uladzimir Kuzhanau.
