A police inspector and two persons in mufti wanted to come in the apartment of the mother of the independent producer of documentaries Volha Nikalaichyk. They motivated their visit by the investigation of the blast which had taken place in Minsk on 4 July.

Volha Nikalaichyk did not open the door to the visitors. She said she would phone to human rights activists, journalists and her friends and asked them whether it was worth opening the door to such a company of strangers. While she was talking on the phone, they went away. Volha thinks that the real reason for their visit is connected with her professional activities in the field of independent documentaries. Next week she intends to meet with the police inspector and have a talk with him.
