20-year-old youth activist Anton Koipish has been expelled from the fourth year of mechanical-mathematic faculty of the Belarusian State University for alleged ‘academic failure’. The real reason was his participation in a protest rally of the entrepreneurs in winter 2008. Anton was found guilty within the frames of the criminal ‘case of 14’ and fined 3.5 million rubles (about $1 650) under part 1 of Article 342 of the Criminal Code (organization of or active participation in the group actions which grossly violate the civil order).
