The administration of the Belarusian trade union or radio electronic industry demands that Leninski district procuracy of Hrodna take the necessary measures in connection with the illegal confiscation of copies of the Haradzenskaya Salidarnasts newspaper from the member of the trade union Uladzimir Tabola.

The incident took place on 19 June at the check-point of the automobile aggregates plant, where the trade union activist was handing out the newspapers to the workers. The guards called the police who confiscated the registered edition without explaining the reasons.

If the procuracy does not react to the unlawful actions of the police, the trade union leaders intend to apply to the General procuracy and the International Labor Organization.
