Today Ales Kasach came out on Kastrychnitskaya Square with a poster with the aim to attract attention of the regime to arbitrariness of Shklou colony’s staff, but policemen expelled him away from the square immediately.
Ales Kasach told RFE/RL, the administration of the colony in Shklou demands relatives of the prisoners to remit money to the account of the colony regularly. Beside that, relatives are forced to bring different things ordered by policemen.
The man said that after his petition to the Penal jurisdiction department relating actions of Shklou colony workers, threats against his son started. His son serves a term in the colony for a fight.
Ales Kasach says he organized the protest on the square in order to attract attention of the society to the helplessness of citizens in the face of actions of the police.
