Reports against oppositionists drawn up by ideologues

Youth activists Katsiaryna Salauyova and Ales Krutkin, detained in Vushachy town, have been fined by the local court.
Each of the Young front members must pay 30 basic units of fine (1,050,000 Belarusian rubles), RFE/RL reports.
The court found Salauyova and Krutkin guilty in violation of article 22.9 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus. According to the reports, drawn up in a police department, the youth activists were spreading unregistered printed materials – stickers “European Belarus” and “Polatsk- the city is ours!”
In reality, democratic activists came to Vushachy to meet with the local youth.
By the way, the reports against Katsiaryna Salauyova and Ales Krutkin were drawn up not by policemen, but Volha Karcheuskaya, head of the ideological department of the district executive committee, who was called to police department for that purpose.
