Hrodna: another administrative case for concert

An administrative report under article 23.34 (active participation in unauthorized action) has been composed today against the chairman of Hrodna oblast branch of the United Civil Party (UCP) Yury Istomin. The police qualified as an unauthorized action the concert of a well-known Polish band Lombard in Hrodna.
Istomin was also made to give written explanations concerning yesterday’s concert of the folk band Transcapella which had taken place at the office of the UCP branch. He stated that he had not organized the concert and the room was provided on request of the organizer of the concert, the General Consulate of the Republic of Poland in Hrodna.
Mr. Istomin is sure that the results of these actions of the police depend on the results of the trial over Anzhalika Borys, who is accused of organization of the Lombard’s concert in Hrodna.
