BAJ member Maryja Savushkina is insistently invited by some unknown man, who represents himself as "a representative of KGB Department of Kind Affairs" by phone for a meeting.
KGB representative Yury phoned to Maryja’s personal mobile number on February 21, 2008. He proposed to meet with the journalist.
Having received a refusal, he re-phoned in the morning of February 22 to another mobile number, belonging to Maryja Savushkina. (The KGB-men’s phone number was encrypted.)
"I refused again and the KGB representative told that I was unwise", noted Maryja.
The journalist retorted to the unknown special police officer that she would come for "a talk", if she received a corresponding writ from the KGB. She connects these threatening phone calls with her professional activity for independent media outlets.
