Yesterday, on January 18th, at 10 p.m. chairman of the BPF Youth Ales Kalita and member of the council Nasta Aleksandrovich managed to avoid preventive detention and an obvious arrest. The police followed the activists from the moment they left the apartment. Ales Kalita noticed a “tail” in Belarusachka store, located in Sukharava district.
A person in civil clothes talking on the so-called “bug” in the ear followed Ales and Nasta in the store. The young people quickly left the store and hid in the dark yards. Seceral students helped them to avoid detention.
Ales Kalita: “I am glad. It is the first time in eight years that I managed to slip out from under their nose. Obviously, the authorities are scared 200 %. They should drink more valerian drops”.
Nasta Aleksandrovich: “In fact, I was very surprised to see a KGB agent in a food store. I didn’t notice anything suspicious near the house. I did not expect such adventures at 10 p.m. But the system works night and day.”
