New Criminal Case in Hrodna

Today a new criminal case was instigated in Hrodna. Aliaksei Sarnou, 23, is charged under Article 341 of the Criminal Code for graffiti on the walls. He wrote just two words: “Return Benefits”.
RFE/RL reports, at 2 a.m. the guy was detained in Horkaha Street. The police searched his bag and found paint cans. Sarnou was kept in lenisnki disptrict police department for ten hours, and then brought to Kastrychnitski district police department. There the police informed him, in Kastrychnitski district they found similar graffiti on the walls, made with the same red paint.
In twelve hours the police confirmed Sarnou’s status of a suspect in the criminal case and let him go home. Aliaksei Sarnou is an electrician in a building company.
