On 12 December Leninski district court of Minsk postponed the administrative trials over the entrepreneur Aliaksandr Makayeu and the student Mikalai Siarheyenka who were charged with petty hooliganism which they had allegedly committed on 6 December.
Bear in mind that on 6 December the police burst into the office of the Belarusian Congress of Democratic Trade Unions and confiscated leaflets dedicated to the meeting of entrepreneurs on 10 December. According to the police, Makayeu and Siarheyenka allegedly met them with foul expressions.
However, the police witnesses did not come to the trial. As a result the judge Yuliya Shumskaya postponed the trial over Mikalai Siarheyenka to 14 December. The trial over Makayeu did not take place because he is serving a 7-day arrest for participation in the abovementioned meeting.
