On 11 December a large white-red-white flag was hung out on the corner of Nezalezhnastsi Avenue and Kazlou Street in Minsk (tube station Ploshcha Peramohi).

Activists of the civil campaign For Freedom! fixed flags not only in Kazlou Street but also near Kalinin Square. According to journalists, the flags were waving above the avenue for several hours.

A banner ‘It’s not Russia here’ was hung out on the bridge over Niamiha Street in Minsk.

In such a way young people expressed their attitude towards Vladimir Putin’s visit to Minsk and information that the Russian president is going to head the so called union state of Russia and Belarus.

It should be reminded that Vladimir Putin is coming to Minsk in the evening on 13 December.

The Belarusian People’s Front Party urges people to come to an action in support of Belarus’ independence at 6 p.m. in Kastrychnitskaya Square in Minsk.
