Today the official order for Katsyaryna Salauyova’s expulsion from Polatsk State University has been signed. The activist’s group mates began to gather signatures in her support.
The official ground for her expulsion was allegedly academic failure. ‘It is interesting how I have turned from an A student to almost the worst student of the year within two last weeks. I don’t even know why I have an academic failure. I was shown a paper. I’m shocked,’ said the second year student of the faculty of history and philology to the Young Front press service.It should be reminded that a criminal case for ‘disrespect to the state symbols’ has been brought against a Polatsk member of the Young Front Katsiaryna Salauyova, and investigation for ‘participation in unregistered organization has been started against her as well.
