All Detained Halloween Participants Sentenced to Arrest

Tatsiana Lashkarova was the first to get a term. The judge of Savetski district court of Minsk Liudmila Savastsian sentenced the girl to 5 days of administrative arrest. Tatsiana said that the report of detention was not true. Young people were charged with petty hooliganism. Their appearance allegedly was an ‘outrage against public morality’.
The lawyer of the detainee, Sviatlana Harbatok, noted that the facts in the report of detention were not supported by any testimonies, either by Central department store shop assistants who saw the detention, or by friends of the detained, or even policemen who were arresting the participants, Nasha Niva informs.
Tastiana Lashkarova also stated that she would file a complaint to the prosecutor’s office.
Judge Aksana Raliava sentenced Andrei Kim to 7 days of arrest. Andrei Kim announced a hunger strike. He also said that he will lodge a complaint against the judge, as he finds her actions illegal.
Yuras Shalin was sentenced to 7 days of arrest.
